Judy M. Lansing, Esquire attended Seton Hall University Law School in Newark, New Jersey while working full time and raising her family. While there, she not only served as a Professors assistant, she also participated in a program named “Street Law” where she volunteered to teach 7th and 8th graders at the Red Bank Middle School. This program informed and instructed students about the perils and pitfalls of street crime and violence. In addition, attorney Lansing also served as a mediator in the Volunteer Mediation Program in Ocean County wherein she mediated a variety of cases for the Ocean County Family Court and the Special Civil Part handling Landlord/Tenant matters. Ms. Lansing also traveled throughout the county serving as a mediator for several Municipal courts while also working in the Ocean County Prosecutor’s office in the Municipal Appeals Division.
Subsequent to obtaining her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University Law School in 1997, Ms. Lansing continued to do volunteer mediation while additionally working at the Law Offices of John Novak, Esquire and the Law Office of Michael Pane, Esquire handling a variety of cases including family, real estate, contract, criminal, civil, land use, and landlord/tenant, at both the Municipal and Superior Court levels.
Ms. Lansing eventually decided to open her own practice, which she did in 2001. Then, in 2007, she partnered with attorney Eric B. Hannum, Esquire, and together they established an office in Jackson, New Jersey. Ms. Lansing is a member of the Ocean County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Monmouth-Ocean County Family Law Inns of Court and the American Bar Association as well as being certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a R. 1:40 mediator.
